Can there be reconciliation without truth? Alan McBride & Joe Campbell

Truth and Reconciliation Platform presents the first of its “Speaking for Myself” series from The Miami Showband Peace Centre online. The Witnesses for this TaRP event are Joe Campbell whose father, RUC sergeant Joseph Campbell, was murdered in Cushendall, County Antrim on February 25th, 1977 and Alan Mcbride whose wife, Sharon, was murdered in the Shankill Road Bombing of October 23rd, 1993. The Panellists are Pat Hynes, Outreach Director at The Glencree Centre for Peace and Reconciliation and, from New York, Amy C. O’Neill, MS, LPC, a Survivor of the Boston Marathon Bombing, Stakeholder for the National Mass Violence and Victimization Resource Center, Licensed Professional Counselor, Adjunct Professor, and a member of the OVC TTAC Consultant Network.

The Chairman is Miami Showband Massacre survivor, Stephen Travers, who is also the Chairman and co-founder of Truth and Reconciliation Platform. This event is researched and co-hosted by Eugene Reavey, Treasurer and co-founder of Truth and Reconciliation Platform.
